A Soho Members Club
Quo Vadis already had a long history and reputation as a restaurant. Previously occupied by Karl Marx, Leoni and more recently by the original celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, it was important to respect the building's past and to create a scheme that worked in harmony with its many authentic features including its famous stained glass facade. Whilst the building was in a terrible state of disrepair it still retained an air of art deco glamour - albeit faded. My objective was to subtly reinstate this twenties chic, teaming it with a more eclectic mix of styles in order to achieve a sense of modernity whilst also preserving an element of its bohemian Soho charm.
